Case study · Czech-language website, built from Beirut
How a family painting and cleaning company in the Czech Republic got a professional website in its own language, built remotely by a web developer in Lebanon, with a brand, four pages and a clear path to a quote.
Poděbrady, Czech Republic · Launched March 2026 · Czech-language · Remote
The Short Version
Šluták Decor paints, renovates and cleans homes and offices across Prague and Central Bohemia. They needed a website that Czech customers would trust and that made asking for a quote the obvious next step. I built it from Beirut, in Czech, on WordPress, with the brand to match.

Who Is Šluták Decor
Šluták Decor is a registered family company based in Poděbrady, serving Prague and the Central Bohemian Region. It does the work a home or office needs between moving in and living in: full renovations and finishing, interior painting and decorative surfaces, and regular or one-off cleaning for households and companies.
Like most trade businesses, the work came through recommendations and the phone. What was missing was the page a Czech customer could be sent to, in their language, that looked like the quality of the work. The rest of this page is about building that page from another country.
A Czech trade business, a developer in Lebanon, and no shared language on the website. Every word on the site had to read as natural Czech, from the navigation to the service descriptions to the call to action, for a customer in Prague who would leave at the first awkward sentence.
And trade customers judge fast. A painter's website has to look clean, show the work, state where the company operates, and make the phone number and quote request impossible to miss. Anything else is decoration.
A brand and a four-page site, Home, About, Services, Contact, in Czech, that presents a family company as established and reliable, lists the three service lines clearly, and puts the phone number, email and contact form on every screen.
Built fast, built light for mobile, and handed over so the family could update it without a developer.
Show the work, say where you work, make the number easy to tap. In Czech, for Czech customers, from wherever the developer happens to sit.
What I Built
Four workstreams, one person, one language the developer doesn't speak natively.
A logo in two versions, dark and white, and a palette that reads as clean and professional for a painting company: the brand had to look like the finished walls it sells.
A homepage led by a slider of the three services, a short "about the company" section with the family-business positioning, service cards with real photos, three trust points, and a closing call to action with the phone number. Mobile-first, since trade enquiries come from phones.
Every string on the site written and checked in Czech, navigation, headings, service descriptions, trust points, the contact page, with the client confirming tone and terminology so it reads like a Czech company wrote it, not a translation.
WordPress and Elementor, four pages, contact form, click-to-call, social links, company registration number in the footer, titles and descriptions in Czech, sitemap and Search Console. Handed over in the client's name.
Under the Hood
The Result
Šluták Decor now has a brand, a site customers in Prague can be sent to, and a quote path on every screen. Distance was never part of the conversation.
The homepage: three services, one phone number, in Czech.
Who Did What
Working across two countries and two languages comes down to the same thing as working across town: one person on each side, clear approvals, and nothing lost in between.
Šluták Decor ⇆worked directly with Omar The client: the work, the photos, the Czech check · Omar Halabi: brand, design, content, build
The client provided the services, the photos and the Czech sign-off. Everything else happened in Beirut.
Questions People Ask
Šluták Decor (Malířství & Úklid s.r.o.) is a family-run painting, renovation and cleaning company based in Poděbrady, serving homes and businesses across Prague and the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
Omar Halabi, a web developer and digital advisor in Beirut, Lebanon, created the brand and designed, wrote and built the Czech-language website on WordPress and Elementor. The site launched in March 2026.
Yes, with the right process: the content is drafted, then checked line by line with the client or a native speaker before anything goes live, and the client signs off on tone and terminology. The structure, design and technical work don't depend on language. Šluták Decor was built in Czech this way; sites in Arabic, French and English follow the same process.
Yes. About half of the portfolio is outside Lebanon: the Czech Republic, France, the United States and the Gulf. Projects run over WhatsApp and video calls with fixed USD quotes, and the working model doesn't change with the time zone.
Less than most people think: clear service lines with real photos, where you operate, proof you're established, and a phone number and quote request that are impossible to miss, especially on a phone. Four pages done well beat fifteen pages nobody reads. Get in touch and I'll tell you what yours needs.
