Case study · Brand, website, content & SEO
How an Arabic tutor and translator went from no online presence to a brand, a fourteen-page website and enquiries from around the world in three weeks. Logo, design, content, development and SEO by one person.

The Short Version
Nawal El Daou is a translator, subtitler and Arabic tutor with a decade of work behind her and no way for anyone to find her. She knew what she did, not how to present it. I built the brand, the site and the content from a blank page, and three weeks later students and clients were booking through it.

Who Is Nawal
Nawal El Daou holds a Master's in Translation from Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut and has spent over ten years in translation, subtitling, proofreading and localization. She works in media localization with Deluxe, subtitling and editing for Asharq News, and teaches Arabic online to students in different countries, from beginners to working professionals.
Four working languages, two distinct services, one person. That mix is what makes her valuable to clients, and exactly what made her hard to put on a website. The rest of this page is about how that was solved.
No website, no logo, no written description of what she offered. Work came by word of mouth and through the companies she subtitled for. A student in Dublin or a client in Istanbul had no way to find her, and no page to be sent to.
The harder problem was the business itself. Tutoring and translation have different customers, different buying decisions and different ways of starting. A template puts everything on one page and calls it a services list. That would have hidden half of what she does.
A brand and a website that explained both sides of the work clearly, gave each its own path, and let a stranger anywhere in the world book a free trial lesson or request a translation quote without a conversation first.
And it had to carry her credentials: the Master's, the decade of experience, the Asharq News work, the students. The proof existed; nobody had written it down.
A learner wants a free trial and a friendly face. A localization manager wants credentials and a quote. One site, two front doors.
What I Built
Five workstreams, one person, three weeks. Nothing existed before the first call.
A name, a logo, a colour palette and brand guidelines. Navy and warm neutrals, Arabic lettering used as a visual motif (تعلّم, ترجمة, لغة) so the brand reads as Arabic-first without excluding English, French and Turkish speakers.
Two hubs, Arabic Tutoring and Language Services, each with its own sub-pages: four tutoring pages, four service pages, plus About, FAQ, Blog and Contact. Fourteen pages designed mobile-first, with a free-trial path for learners and a quote path for clients on every screen.
Every word on the site was written for it: the positioning, fourteen pages of copy, the FAQ, three blog articles on learning Arabic and choosing a translator, and the testimonials gathered from her students and clients. Photography selected and edited to match the brand.
WordPress and Elementor, built fast and clean. Calendly embedded for free-trial bookings, a quote form for clients, WhatsApp with a pre-filled message, and a testimonials section that pulls real names and roles.
Titles and descriptions for every page, Person and Service schema, a blog built around the questions learners actually search, Search Console and a sitemap on launch day. Google was showing the site in search results within the first week.
Under the Hood
The Result
Google was showing the site within the first week. Students and clients now find Nawal through the website, book trials and request quotes directly, and the brand exists on LinkedIn and in her proposals, not only online.
The homepage: one brand, two front doors.
Who Did What
A project like this normally needs a brand designer, a copywriter, a web designer and a developer. Here it was one person, which is why it took three weeks instead of three months.
Nawal ⇆worked directly with Omar Nawal El Daou, the expertise and the approvals · Omar Halabi, brand, design, content, build, SEO
Her job was to explain the work and approve each step. Everything else happened on my side.
In the Client's Words
“My business mixes Arabic tutoring with translation, subtitling and language services, so it wasn’t something he could build from a template. He took the time to understand what I do and who I’m speaking to before building anything. He cared about the small details, was patient with all my ideas and changes, and made sure the site actually feels like me. Definitely recommend him if you want someone who understands your business first.”

Omar Halabi, a web developer and digital advisor in Beirut, created the brand, designed and built the website on WordPress, wrote all the content and set up the SEO. The project took three weeks and launched on 14 September 2026.
There was no logo, no website, no written description of the services and no imagery before the project. Everything a visitor sees on arabicbynawal.com, from the logo to the blog articles, was created for it.
Yes, and it is the most common brief. The answer is usually separate paths for each type of customer rather than one long services page. The free consultation starts with who your customers are and how each one decides, and the structure follows from that.
Yes. Brand, logo, content and imagery can be part of the project, as they were here. It adds time compared with a client who arrives with everything ready, but three weeks for the full package is typical. Get in touch and tell me where you are starting from.
